All lanes going southbound were closed. Traffic was being diverted onto Richmond Street, police said.

They warned motorists to avoid the area or consider alternate routes.

No serious injuries were reported, paramedics said.

Roads reopened just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, police said.

The crash caused heavy traffic in the area for the morning commute. Toronto was hit with a spring snowstorm on Tuesday that left roads snowy and slick.
